A Brief History of Usui Reiki
​
Usui Reiki is a spiritual healing practice founded by Dr. Mikao Usui in early 20th-century Japan. Rooted in ancient Eastern philosophies, Reiki (pronounced ray-key) means "universal life energy." Through specific hand placements, Reiki Masters channel this divine life force to restore energetic balance, promote physical healing, and bring emotional peace.

While traditional in its structure, the Reiki I offer has evolved into a sacred collaboration between the historic modality and the Holy Spirit’s anointing. In my practice, Reiki is not just about energy—it’s about divine alignment. God uses me to help His children return to themselves so they can move forward in purpose, healing, and peace.
